Cellulant along with its all-in-one payments gateway, Tingg has been the recipient of four awards in the recently concluded World Business Outlook Awards, as follows:
- Leading Digital Payment Platform Africa 2022 (Cellulant);
- Best FinTech Digital Payment Solutions Provider Africa 2022 (Cellulant);
- Most Reliable Digital Payment Platform Africa 2022 (Cellulant);
- Best one-stop Digital Payments Platform Africa 2022 (Tingg).
Cellulant is winning the awards for the second year running, having won “Africa’s Leading Financial Technology Company” and “Africa’s Best Digital Payment Service Provider” in 2021.
By using a single API payments system, Cellulant enables local, regional, and global businesses to collect both offline and online payments by allowing clients to use mobile money, local and international cards, or direct bank transfers.
The World Business Outlook (WBO) is a print and online magazine based in Singapore that provides in-depth analysis of the financial industry and international business through a global focus.
Cellulant has set up offices is 18 countries with a payments infrastructure that connects thousands of enterprises with 257 payment options acceptable in more than 35 countries. The firm’s platform facilitates payments for more than 200 million consumers on a singular network across the African continent.

Other firms that won in other categories include African Elite Group for the Most Recommended PR Agency in Africa as well as Best Boutique PR Agency in Africa 2022. KPMG took the award for the Best Financial Service Provider in Nigeria (2022) and the Best ESG Financial Service Provider in Nigeria (2022).
