Motorcare Named as Ford Distributor Partner in Uganda

Ford, in collaboration with Salvador Caetano, has extended its partnership to Uganda, and has appointed Motorcare Uganda as the new distributor partner and authorized importer-dealer for Ford vehicles within Uganda. Motorcare has over the years gained extensive experience, market insights, and dedication to service, which it will leverage to provide products, services, and comprehensive support for Ugandan Ford clientele.

Achraf El Boustani, Managing Director of Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa at Ford Motor Company, emphasized the significance of this collaboration: ” We are delighted to welcome Salvador Caetano Group to the Ford family again. This renewed partnership presents a strategic opportunity for the Ford brand to enhance its market presence in Uganda and Kenya.”

El Boustani elaborated on the partnership’s objectives, saying that the Ford and Caetano partnership will serve loyal customers through a range of products and services, offering both professionalism and satisfaction, as customer satisfaction is the priority of the partnership. “We will stand close to our partners to face this exciting new opportunity. Our main objective is to give our Ugandan customers the best-in-class experience and service, meeting Ford’s standards.”

Gabriel Almeida, Chief Operating Officer of Salvador Caetano, expressed enthusiasm, saying that Salvador Caetano is excited to be chosen as Ford’s distributor partner in Kenya and Uganda. The firm is committed to providing excellent vehicle ownership experiences to Ford customers. The appointment of Motorcare as the official dealer-partner in Uganda will ensure that customers will receive professional sales and after-sales services.

Mads Kjaer, Chairman of Motorcare Uganda, emphasized their commitment to a seamless transition: “Our priority is to cater to existing Ford customers and extend a smooth transition as the new Ford dealer in Uganda.” Kjaer provided insight into upcoming plans, which include setting up a new Ford showroom that will be opened in August and will be used to introduce the next-generation Ford Ranger and Ford Everest to the Ugandan market.
