Sendy, a logistics firm that runs an e-commerce fulfilment system, announced that it is embarking on an initiative with Google to empower SMEs in Africa.
Dubbed the Google Hustle Academy, the boot camp program will offer MSMEs in Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya highly specialized training on digital marketing, business strategy and development, as well as financial planning.
A statement from Sendy disclosed that participants will also interface with industry leaders and attend master classes on business that will boost business growth, create opportunities and spur job creation in the region.

As a bonus, Sendy will offer fulfillment and logistics support for all participating businesses, as well as a personalized mentorship to enable participants to glean valuable skills in building the capacity to operate worthwhile businesses.

The initiative seeks to impact 5000 MSMEs through its free weeklong online boot camp. That will be a catalyst for enabling them to scale via positioning for investment, boosting revenue, and building sustainable businesses that will last.
